2. Definitions

"Program" means a course, certification, workshop, bootcamp, event, or learning product offered on the website.

"Learner" means the individual attending or accessing a program.

"Customer" means the person or organisation that pays or registers (may be the Learner or a sponsor).

"Order" means a registration, purchase, invoice request, or other transaction submitted through the website.

"Partner" means an institute, faculty member, platform provider, or delivery partner involved in program delivery.

"Fees" means program fees and any applicable taxes and payment processing charges.
3. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on the website. Your continued use of the website or purchase after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
4. Using the website
You agree to use the website lawfully and not to:

6. Accounts and communications
You may be required to provide information such as your name, email, phone, and company details to place an order or request a quote. You agree the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.
By submitting an enquiry or order, you consent to receive operational communications about your Program, including confirmations and updates.
7. Orders, pricing, and payment
7.1 Pricing
Prices are shown in USD. Fees may differ by intake, location, delivery format, and partner.
7.2 Payment methods
We may accept online payments, bank transfer, or invoice payment depending on the program and customer type.
7.3 Invoices and corporate bookings
For corporate or sponsored learners, we may issue an invoice based on the approved quote or order form. Unless otherwise stated:

7.4 Fees and taxes
Fees may be subject to taxes depending on location. Payment processing fees may apply and may be non refundable. Refunds, if approved, will be processed according to the Refund Policy.
8. Attendance, participation, and conduct
You agree that learners will:
- attend and participate respectfully
- comply with instructions from trainers and venue or platform rules
- not disrupt sessions or harass others
We may remove a Learner for serious misconduct. In such cases, no refund is due.
9. Program changes, cancellations, and substitutions
9.1 Changes by maentae or partners
We may reschedule or modify programs when necessary. If a program is cancelled by us, we will offer a transfer to another intake or a refund in line with the Refund Policy.
9.2 Substitution
If the customer cannot attend, a substitute Learner may be permitted, subject to program requirements, eligibility, and reasonable notice. Some certification programs may restrict substitution.
9.3 Customer initiated cancellations
Customer initiated cancellations are handled under the Refund Policy.
10. Digital content and access
For self paced or digital programs, access may be time limited as stated on the program page. You are responsible for maintaining access to required devices and internet.
Unless explicitly stated, digital content is licensed to you for personal or internal organisational use only and must not be shared, reproduced, or resold.
11. Intellectual property
All website content and materials, including program content, slides, templates, recordings, and assessments, are protected by intellectual property laws and may be owned by maentae and/or Partners.
You may use materials for personal learning or internal organisational use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing. You must not distribute or publish materials without permission.
12. Third party services and Partners
Some Programs may be delivered by partners or on third party platforms. Where applicable, additional terms from partners may apply.
13. Disclaimers
Program outcomes depend on individual effort and context. We do not guarantee specific results such as promotions, salary increases, or certification outcomes.
The website and services are provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, maentae is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption arising from use of the website or participation in a Program.
If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant program.
